  • Unprofessional appearances and habit: Mainly depending on your industry and the kind of event you are attending, you might be able to wear denim jeans along with polo shirts. However, if your event is a bit formal, you cannot go wrong with professional business attire. That does not signify that you need to ear full size suit, but a nice pair of slacks, a shirt and a pair of shoes. To match your clothing, ensure you do not do anything that could put clients off. This can include smacking on the gums, drinking and eating, joking with coworkers and being familiar with visitors to your pop up stands.
  • Not following up after an Event: This is the biggest mistake that most of the marketers make generally, not following on leads. If someone spent the time to talk to you at your trade show exhibits, you need to follow up with them. Do not wait for the potential clients to come your way. Be proactive while following up and you will have an improved sales record.
